Connections Workshops

The summer months are heating up in Tucson, and we are heading north to Chinle for our workshops.  At the last couple workshop, my horse Miss Rogers, had a baby.  She is a beautiful pinto and was born on Mother's Day.  We named her, Tara.

During our last workshop session in Chinle, I had my first experience of watching Alfred Claw, a traditional Navajo medicine man, perform a doctoring of a person with kidney disease.  It was interesting to watch Alfred using the fire to diagnose the illness.
